Qld: Government to sell ambulance levy to regional Qld=2
Ilfracombe shire chief executive VAUGHN BECKER says people are extremely disappointedwith the way in which the levy has been introduced.
And he's questioned why they should have to pay a levy when they don't have an ambulance.
Mr BECKER says the nearest ambulance is stationed at Longreach, about 30km away.
