SA: Backwater Adelaide now a town of "whingers"

ADELAIDE, Feb 22 AAP - The people of Adelaide might be forgiven for feeling a little
down at present.
After recently having their city described as a backwater by Victorian Premier John
Brumby, their own state treasurer has now dubbed them a bunch of whingers.
Mr Foley took the swipe at his own taxpayers at a business conference in Adelaide yesterday
as he outlined the government's vision for the future.
He said the government might not be the "sexiest" administration around - but it had
delivered stability.
